(1) When a quake occurs, EQguard caculates the intensity and arrival time to the main wave (S-wave) based on Earthquake Early Warning announcements from the Japan.
(2) Meteorogical Agency LED lights on the EQguard flash in one of three colors corresponding to three intensity levels. An audio warning notifying the estimated intensity and arrival time will be sounded viaa built-in speaker usually a dozen to several dozens of seconds before the main wave hits.
[Signal output for controlling facilities] Broadcasting facilities, elevators, and other facilities can be controlled to correspond to the three levels of intensity.
[Audio output] Earthquake Early Warning announcements can be announced through EQguard by connecting it to broadcasting facilities or commercially available speakers.
[Output via LAN] Earthquake Early Warning announcements can be set to display on PC screens so that users can protect their data and shut down their computers accordingly.
[Training mode] There are three different training modes (two modes with fixed conditions and one mode with randomized conditions). More practical training can be conducted using the random mode, which randomly announces an intensity and arrival time for the secondary wave within an intensity range from levels 4 to 6 and an arrival time of 7 to 25 seconds.
EQguard for business use is available in three types - 1, 2, and 3.
The EQguard only needs to be conneceted to the Internet and plugged it into a power outlet.
